Adenylate cyclase type 4 is a protein in humans that is encoded by ADCY4 gene. Adenylyl cyclase type 4 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the ADCY4 gene. This gene encodes a member of the family of adenylyl cyclases, which are membrane-associated enzymes that catalyze the formation of the secondary messenger cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP).
